Chicago choked away points tonight against the Leafs. I was really hoping the Blackhawks would win as every point counts when it comes to the playoffs later on. I am happy that the Lightning won in OT against the Caps for the same reason. Nikolaj Ehlers had a great game with the hat trick for the Jets against the Oilers. We play both of them in order after Columbus and Ehlers will be someone I keep my eyes on that night. Finally, I don't know about anyone else but I am not a fan of the Oilers sweaters tonight. Yuck.

I don't like the orange oilers look. The Gretzky era blues were perfect, don't know why they'd move from those. The current whites are sharp though, but so were the previous ones

They really are, their offense is just incredible. I think they'll be the team to beat in the East for a while real soon. Will be interesting to see how our young team stacks up against them over the next few years. They're probably going to have the strongest offense in the East, while we might carry the strongest D group in the East.

I really, but really don't understand the 2010s interest in bright orange uniforms. Nobody wears them well. The Flyers looked A LOT better in their more reddish-orange unis in the 80s and 90s, the Oilers looked A LOT better in blue with orange trim, the Ducks just look like a bad knockoff of the above.

Someone at Adidas needs to bring an actual squirt bottle to their boardroom for those moments when the intern pitches another orange uniform. "NO... BAD... *squirt* *squirt*"

I'm of the opinion that no major-league team at all looks good in Orange, past or present. Broncos, Buccaneers, Oilers, Suns, etc. all look awful.

Strangely though, I have no problem with schools like Clemson, Tennessee, Texas etc. wearing orange as a primary color.

Hmm, according to the main board there are plenty of tickets left for tonights game in Montreal. As we all know, any team that doesn't sell out every game of every season is in financial hell and must be moved ASAP. I think Atlanta should be the candidate here for the Canadiens to relocate to, and it would be one step closer to the SEC Division that the NHL needs, not wants.

Orange is my favorite color, so I have no issues with it as a primary color. However, overall jersey design execution is certainly lacking in many of these examples.

Coffee works in a pinch. That's what I use when our intern screws something up.

You're right about the pro/college thing though, and it's kind of weird.

Doh, yeah I forgot about them. OTOH, their shade of orange is a tad more pleasing to the eye, and I also like how it doesn't "dominate" the jersey with the white sleeves and shoulder crest.

Vegas 4-0 in an emotional season opener. It doesn't get much better than that. They seem fast and skilled. I wouldn't bet against Fleury either. They have a good thing going so far.
