Artemi Panarin has officially locked down $2.575M in performance bonuses. It'll cost the #blackhawks at least one player next season.

On game 82. Probably bitter sweet for the Hawks. This game cost them a lot actually haha

Sam Gagner is going to the playoffs.
Yup, and props to him for coming back from two bad injuries and a series of trades that would rock anybody's confidence to make himself useful to the Flyers down the stretch.
Hope he plays well in the playoffs, I think I can get behind the Flyers, in a very half-hearted way. :dunno:
Just curious about whether the the clappy thing is sarcastic or not, weren't you one of the snowpants crowd?

Not sarcastic. Genuinely happy for him.

I wanted him traded towards the end because I didn't think it was working here but he always gave an honest effort and never complained or made excuses.

Hrudey going on again about how Ramo was lights out for a long, looong stretch this year...
A few weeks ago Hrudey said Ramo was establishing himself as a number one goalie this season.

.909 SV% and 2.63 GAA = #1 goalie numbers

Ramo never had a stretch of four consecutive games where he put up a .920+ SV% this season. He didn't come close either.

If we're lucky Hrudey will somehow manage to get a management position in Calgary.

Calgary
I used to think Peter Loubardias was the worst thing to ever disgrace Flames broadcasts until Hrudey was hired.

I get it, it's his job, but man the Flames are headed for a bottom 5 finish despite all the hype going into this year.

How can he see anything from his vantage point?

Gaudreau finishes at less than a point-per-game for the season and Karlsson 2.0 is held scoreless in his debut.

Marincin Apparently Thriving with Toronto

For the love of god they need to fire MacT. Spoke to two Toronto friends (I rarely watch the early game) and they are ecstatic about picking up Marincin. I guess it was MacT that insisted on going after Reinhart and cutting Marty lose.

Thoughts on if letting him go was a mistake?

Not really. He wasn't doing anything for us. He couldn't even produce at the NHL level. He has a few games where he is ok, but never stood out. Not worried at all losing him.

He got passed by too many players on the depth chart here. I don't miss him.

Up until recently was horrendous according to the Leafs board.
