Just came back from the Jokerit game and TT was really good this evening. 1+1 for him as was previously stated. He had an assist for the 3-0 goal and scored the 4-0 goal himself. Highlights later when they arrive.

Teuvo Teräväinen has now 2 G + 5 A = 7 P in 11 games.

Were we watching the same game? Apart from the plays where he got points he was a non-factor, actually gave the puck away quite a few times and played very softly along the boards in the offensive zone. Was not impressive on the PP, but the whole team was pretty awful and Kalpa actually played pretty good PK. But it definitely is nice that he used the chances that he got and has started to rack up some points. If he hadn't scored that goal at the end(sick wrister, perfect placement), it would have been a bad, the goal obviously elevates it to a bit above average.

Yes, I did see the game and I disagree. He was visible, made nice plays, clever passes, won puck battles, it was a all-round good game for him.

I know Ben Smith is 25 now, so getting to make or break time for him.

What do you expect from him this season? Will he still on the NHL roster full time or still get benched at times?

Long term what do you view as his upside(points wise)?

Thanks

Not much, expect him to be a 4th liner, getting 10mins a game.
He'll be lucky to get 15pts on the season IMO, his upside is 25-30pts/season and a 3rd line W.

Nice to see them off to a good start this season. They replaced the assistant coaches after last year, and I can't see Dent surviving unless they make the playoffs this year.

Teuvo with 0+1 after the first period. Apparently a good shot that was directed in by a teammate.
