Not surprised, good pick up for a PO push. Now keep an eye on his play. Mismanaged.Claimed by the Yotes
Don't know how we didn't at least get a pick for him....

Bravo, you got this.Because when you put players in positions where they can't showcase or play to their strengths - they don't hold value.
It's exactly how we ended up having to pay a 1st to move Monahan. You can't play these types of players on the 4th line and just expect them to find success at the highest level in a role they have literally never played at during any point in their careers.
I am not even saying Ruzicka is a slam dunk or even a good bet to have NHL success, but at the very least get an honest look at him in the appropriate role. What does this mess of a roster have to lose? Even if he fails in a top nine role then other teams would have seen that as well and then he's in your AHL contributing there.
But this was only noticeable after his injury this season- he had bad injury and rushed back. There was plenty of games at the start of the season in which he played the par but his line mates in top 9 were fumbling his passes. He also hit 3 posts in his next 5 games after he returned then was dropped and played with non NHLers like Dube and Duehr.Wouldn’t have hated seeing him play C with better line mates post Lindholm trade, but oh well.
Really don’t think this warrants a huge reaction about mismanagement of players - has to be one of the most inconsequential players in the NHL. You’ll only notice him, good or bad, maybe once a game. Just no real impact either way - he’s just there.

Why not giving him till Pospi is back his second line duties?
We were never getting a pick for him lol he’s on pace for 6 goals and 17 pts over a full season at age 24. The 10 worst teams in the league didn’t even try to claim him for free.Don't know how we didn't at least get a pick for him....

Ruzicka is not a top-9 guy and isn’t ideal for a 4th line role either. Maybe he finds a role on a 3rd line somewhere but losing him is completely inconsequential. We woulda just let him walk this summer anyway
I have been keeping an eye on him since Jr. He is not going to amount to anything. Watch.I vehemently disagree, keep an eye on him.
Ok, when he shuffles between AZ’s bottom-6 and their AHL team I’ll try to catch some games before they don’t qualify him and he becomes a UFA this summerI vehemently disagree, keep an eye on him.
He’s just not that good. Half of the Wranglers would have put up 9 points in the past calendar year - especially when being force fed PP all year to boot. But this was only noticeable after his injury this season- he had bad injury and rushed back. He had 20 pts in 44 games under that tool last season and his system produced f*** all goals in general.
You wanted to get rid? Fine, boost his value, get a low pick for him.
Absolute nits the pair of them (Hus and Conan)
This is nothing like Monahan.

Very clever statement- using PP as some automatic point machine this season. I have probably been watching a dif Calgary team this season where Ruzicka fed that truck from Colorado or that 2nd rounder in Tampa...He’s just not that good. I see that more as an indictment of the Flames' power play.Ruzicka leads all Flames skaters in PP points per 60.

Sean Monahan was moved there because he was always injured, could barely skate and wasn't producing in the top 2 lines away from Gaudreau.Ok, so you are telling me Monahan wasn't playing on the 4th line with Lucic and Lewis and in a role he was not suited for in which dramatically decreased his value over the last half season here? Monahan had 4 points in 28 games over his last two months playing in a similar situation.
