The 2022 u18 tournament is about to get underway tomorrow. Just 8 teams, so everyone makes the playoff round. Lots of interesting draft eligibles, but maybe even more interesting is the class of 2023!

TSN is showing all of the Canada games and USA games and medal games presumably, and hockeytv will have the streams for the rest. Disappointed that the whole tournament isn’t televised, it’s not like they’re doing anything else with TSN5 at 4 in the morning. Looks like games will be 5:30ET/7:30MT and 9:30ET/11:30MT starts for the televised games.

Finland takes on Switzerland in exactly 12 hours from the time of this post. Looking forward to seeing the talent on display!

Eight teams, that's very little. Isn't it 10 usually? Russia got removed but was Belarus also playing at A level or why 8? Interesting that they didn't replace those teams as they did for men's WHC tournament.

Im not seeing this on HockeyTV's list of events or schedule. I know they streamed last years tournament but does anyone know for sure if they are carrying it this year? And if not, is there another legit streaming option?

next year they will add two teams to replace Russia and Belarus. For now we have 8. and that's fine by me.

The Norwegian 04’s are quite comfortably better than the German 04’s it looks like. Shame that the teams weren’t allowed to play here right after promotion.

Surely not the best German agegroup - but they looks still like they are competitive against the Czechs

Finland beats Switzerland 6-2. 2024(!) eligible d-man Kiviharju with a strong performance in limited minutes.

Czechs stomp Germany but can only but 4 pucks past Simon Wolf on 62 shots. Czechs won 4-2.

Latvia-Sweden starting imminently!

Really sloppy puckhandling from Sweden that first period looked couldn’t deal as soon as Latvia put pressure on them.

Öhgren hasn't connected on the prime passes fed to him by Östlund yet.

Also, swap O.Pettersson on the second line with Stenberg pls.

Canada pretty rough, hopefully they can improve tomorrow!

Americans defend well, they’re not sloppy.

Latvia was good or Sweden were just awful today? Looking at the results what Sweden had in the exhibition games I'm really shocked by this result.
