Nice win by the Canes for the 2-1 series lead. A lot of stupid penalties by the Pats. Hope they keep doing that.

Speaking of penalties, the refs sure are calling alot against Seattle tonight in Kelowna. As of now 7 pps for Kelowna and only 1 pp for Seattle hmmmmm

Kelowna finally tied it up while on that 7th PP.

VERY interesting to watch this game. 3rd is getting close to ending, will be curious to see if refs decide to give Seattle a PP or not... Doubtful, but would be nice to see the refs atleast call something on Kelowna

Edit - great gutsy win by Seattle wow. Scored with 20 seconds left to win. Kelowna outshot seattle 35-14... Seattle 16 year old goalie stood on his head once again... Peppered with shots on all those PPs

Are the penalties or lack of calls on penalties legit or does it seem like the refs are favoring Kelowna. You would think the WHL would be more then happy to see either team move on.

Forgot to mention, Canes finally have everybody but Alfaro back from injury and it sure seemed to make a difference.

Again with this. The Rockets controlled the play all game. Look at the shots, 35-14 Kelowna. Obviously there's going to be a greater chance for the defending team to take obstruction penalties. And the 3 penalties against Seattle in the 3rd were undeniably penalties. 2 puck over glass calls and Dube was hooked while walking into the slot with the puck and unable to get a shot off. Aside from that, was there missed calls? Sure, just like every game and they go both ways.

Perhaps the only angle the replay booth had tonight was overhead? In that case it would make sense that Kelowna's "goal" was not overturned. Perhaps the refs weren't looking at Ottenbreit when he was hooked on Saturday night, leading to Kelowna's first "goal"? That would make sense too.

Here's a link to Kelowna's goal from tonight. Luckily the highlight pack has all the angles for us. It was definitely close to the bar, but at the point of contact from the ice-level angle Thurkauf's body is blocking the view. It's not conclusive and the call on the ice was a goal.

Exactly... when one of the teams is on the PP for a quarter of the game, that's what happens

It was a VERY lopsided called game. Unsure how anybody can say otherwise. Would have been another EXTREMELY frustrating game for Seattle and for all their fans watching

Seattle was very lucky to win this game. That was all Stankowski. He stole it for the Tbirds

Im just a fan watching games.. I watched the Canes/Pats game earlier and I really don't care if Kelowna or Seattle wins(it's not like im a Tbird fanboy).. I just want a well called, good, entertaining game between IMO the 2 most entertaining teams in the Western Conference.... All I am hoping is that whoever wins in this series, takes the WHL championship.

P.S.- Cal Foote is such a stud. Going to be an unreal pro. Rockets are producing yet another future NHL star dman.

Lots of open ice tonight in Lethbridge. This is more what I was expecting the series to be like.

Skinner has been standing on his head for Lethbridge, I feel like Regina has been the better team for the majority of this series so far.

Well, they were the top team in the W this year and finished 17 points ahead of the Canes in the standings.

I will say this though, the Canes had a bit of turmoil to begin their season and after some roster turn over and a 7-12-2 start they managed to roll along for the rest of the season to the tune of a 37-9-5 record (.774 points %). That includes a 1-4-0 finish to the season also. So from Nov 18 to early March the Canes had a run where they went 36-5-5 (.836 points %).

Hopefully now that they are getting healthy again they can continue to give the Pats fits, with Skinner leading the way.

Currently 1-1 in the 2nd.

4 goals in the last 11 minutes of the 2nd, 3 of them went to the Pats though unfortunately.

4-2 Pats after two.

The damn broke open. 6-2 final.

Hopefully they can get it patched up before game 5.

If Bear is out long term(or any more games at all), Seattle will have difficulties winning. He was sorely missed last night and the team seemed lost on the PP and just all puck moving from the defensive end. Its believed he is out with a broken hand or fingers from a blocked shot in game 3. Was walking around Kelowna last night in a temporary cast. He was waiting to get back to Seattle today to see their doctors

confirmed broken hand for Bear. Just absolutely terrible news for him, the fans and the team. IMO losing him will be the difference between winning/losing this series. I think Kelowna now wins next 2 games to take the series in 6. The team looked lost in game 4 without Bear. Their offensive game and PP was a mess

Barzal would have the puck in offensive zone and look back to see no Bear back there and it affected everything. Just terrible news

They can find a way. When Barzal went down Kolesar, Gropp, and Strand stepped up. Yes, better opponent now, more players banged up. Plenty of leaders in the room and they still have the ability.

Well Seattle is known for their forward depth, massive dmen and their puck mover/pp specialist Bear... When forward injuries happened, their unreal forward depth was shown... When Bear went down, they dont have that puck moving dman depth. IMO thats where Farwell messed up and didnt have more of... He loves those massive hard hitting dmen but also needed more puck moving depth..... Oh what a difference it would have been if Dante Fabbro would have come to Seattle haha

I guarentee yesterday practice and today game day skate they did all PP stuff and figuring out what to do there now. I saw them tinkering in game 4 on the PP with different ideas and it was a disaster.

Oh well, i predicted Seattle to win this series so ill have to stick with that but IMO they have a tough go.... Either way i hope one of Seattle or Kelowna moves onto Memorial Cup

Sounds like Konowalchuk said that Bear was "day-to-day", so maybe they aren't ruling him out completely but if its a broken hand that would be pretty tough to play with.

EDIT: Andy Eide says he will take warmups, game time decision tonight

Was gonna say hopefully less penalties are called in this game since Kelowna has had 25 PPs in 4 games so far and Seattle only 11 PPs so far... But Kelowna already given 4 PPs and 1st period hasnt finished yet.. Geeze i havent seen anything like this before

29 PPs in 13 periods for Kelowna
12 PPs in 13 periods for Seattle

So far...

I just wanna see a good hard fair series... As i said before i really dont care who wins(besides the fact i predicted Seattle before series started for fun) but these games ive watched online and in Kelowna has been terrible

Getting tough not to agree with what Ingram on Kamloops said

Pats seal it with an empty netter, 5-3 final.

3-2 series lead for them now.

Canes 4-0 when facing elimination these playoffs. Hopefully they can get a big win at home on Sunday and force a 7th game.

I didn't realize you were such a big 'Canes fan. Are you from Lethbridge? Growing up here I was a fan, but not since the mid-90s. I always look forward to the 'Canes being eliminated so I can stop hearing about them

But also do you happen to know a place where you can get decent priced 'Canes jerseys? My 6 year old nephew is a pretty big fan

Massive seattle win... Didnt think they could win without Bear but they did... Stankowski is the real deal
