John Fox is 10-27 with .270 winning pct and criticism continues to mount in Chicago with regard to his awful in game coaching and lack of anything resembling improvement from club under his reign

That is the worst winning pct of a Bears HC in franchise history. How does Fox compare to post Halas era coaches

Marc Trestman = .406 (13-19 record)
Lovie Smith = .563 (81-63 record)
Dick Jauron = .438 (35-45 record)
Dave Wannstadt = .417 (40-56 record)
Mike Ditka = .631 (106-62 record)
Neil Armstrong = .469 (30-34 record)
Jack Pardee = .476 (20-22 record)
Abe Gibson = .274 (11-30-1 record)
Jim Dooley = .357 (20-36 record)

Gibson and Dooley coached era in which Bears were absolute dumpster fire.. The Fox era has been comparable

Bears have basically been a dumpster fire the last 30 years, save for the one year they faced the Colts in the SB.

Lovie had them in the playoffs when the team had talent. Its about the Jimmy and Joes not the x's and o's in the NFL.

Or any by the looks of it.

I know he's saint to statwhackers and they will make excuses for his lack of results, 1-21 and passing on two potential franchise QBs?

There really is no defending Jackson

Even with as bad as Browns have been they are poorly coached team and have shown nothing resembling improvement with him at helm

He should be fired after year but likely the odd Jackson hype that still somehow exists will save him

I'm not sure how many times I need to explain this but.... DePodesta was not in charge of the draft.... the GM (Sashi Brown) was. He is an assistant -- there to give ideas and help the GM with whatever he needs.

DePodesta's official title is 'chief strategy officer.' He is not an assistant GM. He reports directly to Haslem and is above Sashi Brown, not below him. He likely does not have the power to hire/fire him or anyone beneath him, that goes to Haslem. He wouldn't have left baseball if he was going to have to answer to anyone other than the owner.

So is Marvin Lewis definitely out at the end of the year? Has to be, right?

I imagine Pagano will be out in Indy unless they use the Luck excuse to keep him around.

Todd Bowles might have saved his job for another year given how much he has exceeded expectations this year.
