With 5 minutes left in the game, Chris Terry scores his 18th, assisted by Cracknell.

Commentators are saying Scherbak also has an assist, but AHL site doesn't have him credited.

Edit: Scherbak has been officially awarded an assist.

So 1 goal and 1 assist for Terry.
1 goal and 1 assist for Cracknell.
And birthday boy Scherbak with 2 assists.

Laval back into a playoff spot now. They sit in 4th place at the moment. But they have played the most games in their division so far. Nevertheless, their 3-game winning streak helped them.

Another part that helped them a lot is that in their last 6 games, they played divisional rivals. They went 4-1-1 in that span, collecting 9 points of a possible 12.

Anyone else wondering why Chris Terry has not received much talk about representing Canada at the Olympics? AHL scoring leader Bourque has been selected for the US and I'd argue Terry has been better this season and last and even with the guys from overseas etc, I would think Terry should be in the mix for his offence.

He has an NHL contract. Chris Bourque has an AHL contract.

- Fucale will be Lindgren's back up. McNiven will watch the game from the press box.

- Gregoire is out for tonight's game and for the weekend. Kyle Baun will apparently take his spot on his line and Thomas Ebbing will be inserted in Baun's spot on the 4th line.

- Lernout will play tonight and Bourque will sit out.

Just curious. Has Broll fell out of favour with coaching staff? Has been a healthy scratch for weeks. Thought a physical presence to replace Gregoire would be better then Ebbing?
