Damn what an OT. Michigan Tech pretty much dictated play. Even had ND hemmed in their own zone for a long period of time and the puck just almost goes in but the puck just stops on the post where ND was able to sweep away.Then Michigan Tech D's stick breaks on a one timer and the puck comes the other way. MT goalie saves the breakaway and then ND takes control of the puck. Gross with the shot and scores in OT.

AIr Force is just a pure defensive force. Mind you....they will probably be blown out 6-2 next game...that type of team. But today, SC shots keep being blocked or stopped. There's just nothing they can do. A really bad day at the office.

Commentators were trying to see if a coach waved him to the bench. They were wondering if Hranek made the decision himself to head to the bench.

Not the busiest of nights for Hawkey but he still made a difference when he needed to. Providence continues to surprise, it's really not a great roster on paper but they're finding ways to win.
