At least its not vs us. I almost expect that stuff to happen to us.

Edit: also props to ESPN for having WNBA as the front story on opening night. I blame Betman for alot, but it would be nice not to be treated like bowling or waterpolo

I mean it is the WNBA final on ESPN. Can’t blame them for promoting that.

I'd be interested to see WPG with a different coach. That might happen soon if they keep up this sloppy play.

Yeah, that McDavid can hockey pretty good.

Calgary may regret that Hamonic trade. He's a decent defender but not a game-changer or anything and their first and two seconds is pretty rich. They looked awfully slow tonight and it wasn't just McDavid.

McDavid has Pavel Bure's speed but with better playmaking skills.

He's hording defensemen. Notably, Reinhart.

I hope GMs continue to hold firm and make George regret taking so many Dmen. Notably, one Nate Schmidt.

I watched some of the Bruins/Preds game during the Caps intermissions. I like the young players Boston has implemented in their lineup.

Bwahahahahaha......how did McPhailure mess up with Shipachyov not being able to be recalled for the opener?!

What a fool.
While Vegas' goalie and defense hoarding is beyond bizarre, this situation was f***ed up by James Neal's wrist being ready to play. Waiving Pickard gave them the space to recall Shipachyov, but then James Neal was cleared by the doctors and activated from Injured Reserve to occupy the 23rd roster spot.

No sympathy for GMGM. Part of being a good GM is contingency planning.

Like, for example, what to do if your star Russian center demands more money than you expected.
