Got to see him for the first time last night. Eakins had him on a pair with Theodore, and they looked good imo (though it's hard not to look good in a 6-1 win). On Cramarossa's goal, which was right after a PK, Welinski made a couple smart moves in the d-zone to help finish the kill, then sprang Wags and the fresh-out-of-the-box Crammarossa for their 2-on-1 break and goal. That stood out most to me.

Not sure who among the veteran d-men are injured, maybe all of them? But not one of Bickel, Shane O'Brien, or Piskula were dressed. All kids on the blueline:
