Announcement:

Please welcome archangel archangel to the league as a replacement for Eddy Punch Clock. Eddy has missed setting his lineup at least once in each of the past three weeks. Considering he has had an official warning before, and is also a new member of the league, we have decided to let him go.

As a reminder to all that our league is held to a high standard with regards to setting lineups every day. This is what sets us apart as a premier competitive keeper league from other head-to-head keeper leagues. We understand you may miss one day every few weeks, but we cannot afford to jeopardize the fairness of the matchups if you miss setting the lineups consistently.

I've used the app lately as over the holidays I'm not finding myself in front of a computer.

Just realized it screwed me out of dressing kesler tonight. Since I know I started him yesterday.

If this happens again id hate to lose my spot in the league over something like that.

I'm probably 95% on top of it. If that's not good enough then maybe I'm not good enough for the league. I don't like setting my lineups weeks in advance as things change quickly.

Just looking at your roster Dec 14th, 15th, 19th, 27th, and 28th warranted a PM reminder. Any recurring instances and we will have to give you an official warning.

If the Yahoo app is known for screwing up then it is not advised to keep using it....this should also go for the other members of the league.

If anyone's interested in the macro for w/e reason, I can share it. You'll need to tweak it a little bit depending on what stats your league uses, but once it's setup you just copy the two stats tables directly from Yahoo, run it, then copy the output tab (already formatted for an HF boards table; takes about 15 seconds).

Obviously some injuries (Anderson/Varlamov) and competition for #1 (Hutch) have affected the wins, but still pretty good and promising moving forward. I know it's not the best, but it's the first decent group I've had since like year 2 of the league. Pretty excited that I'm not completely relying on skaters to carry me this year. Also, kinda wishing I hadn't traded Tarasenko + My 1st for Varlamov, cause imagine what my team would look like with him added (and I'd still have 3 good goalies).

Oh ya, and loving my 2 rookie keepers. Hutchinson (above) and Filip Forsberg. Boom!

Also, completely separate thought, but something is up with Yahoo's rankings. Check this out:

Palat has 41GP, Lucic has 43GP, Schenn has 44GP.
How is Lucic almost even with Palat in Total Rank (which doesn't consider GP), but then ranked way behind Palat and almost equal to Schenn on Average Rank? They all have roughly the same GP, so if he's ahead in Total Rank he should also be ahead in Average Rank.

Has anyone else noticed this before? Is one of those metrics always broken, and if so which one? It seems to me that Lucic's average rank must be off.

I still laugh that my buddy dropped Holtby in our 1 year hockey pool back when he struggled in October or November. I picked him up and packaged him with a couple players for John Tavares. I actually kind of regret that trade, Holtby has been great.

Speaking of goalies, I'm open to dealing Carter Hutton who I just picked up. Would trade him and another rental type skater for a 2nd or 3rd depending on who the other player is, so if your serious about the playoffs and your goalies are hurting right now, this might be the time to gain some ground while Pekka's gone.

They don't change by league, so I expect it assumes standard Yahoo league settings.

I didn't know I was doing so well, thought I was just winning favourable matchups.

Haha...you and me both. I'm last in BLK. Remove that stat, and I go from 6pts behind CRD and 1 behind you to 5pts ahead of CRD and 7 ahead of you.

Zdeno Chara - Near .5 ppg while averaging 1.58 blocks per game. Also will give you PIMs and +s

Erik Johnson - A full .5ppg while averaging 2.3 blocks a game. Number one defenseman for an emerging elite team

Kris Russell - .38 ppg and 3.19 blocks per game.

Chris Kunitz - Near PPG power forward playing in the top six of the Penguins' juggernaut.

Alexander Barkov - One of the most prominent prospects in the league

Evander Kane - I'm conflicted on this one.
