I see Montreal as a good fit too if Boston doesn't want him back lol.

Maybe he wants better weather and some cup contention in Dallas or Tampa bay for minimum salary. Shattenkirk leaving left a little hole in Tampa.

If it’s cheap and 1 year, I’d love the Oilers to sign him. Bottom pair LHD who can play higher in a pinch. Good on PK. Help cover the loss of Klefbom and be a mentor to the kids. It’s gonna be a short season so fatigue less of an issue. Why not? Never happen though. He’s gonna sign with the Bs as soon as they get the rest of their poop in a group.

Edmonton could really use his leadership for that young group and we have space once Klefbom goes on LTIR.

Nurse - Bear
Chara - Barrie
Jones - Larsson

Silky Johnson

I wish you all the bad things in life.

Maybe Toronto

Was he good ten years ago? Check

Is really old and way past his prime? Check

Is he from Southern Ontario? Not so much.

I give then a 66.6% of signing him

Buffalo - 2 years @ $1.2m/year to revive the idea of a player-coach.

Followed by a goalie trade w/Yotes.

Back to Ottawa to retire a Senator

Looking back, the Sens made the wrong choice. But at the time it wasn't crazy, nor criticized, that Ottawa chose Redden over Chara. Another example where the right move ended up bad.

But I don't see him retiring a Sen. His best years were as a Bruin. That will be his legacy. I think this is his last season.

If you were in Canada, I'd say you were watching Rona commercials.
