Greiss isn't an UFA and why sign multiple goalies who aren't any better than a .900s% AHLer in case Monty is better than those already in the fold? Just doesn't make any sense...

If you're talking about the next season then it's advisable to talk about the 22-23 campaign instead of referring to this season. Monty isn't a NHL level goalie so it's better to search your starter elsewhere.

yep. i think we just misunderstood each other because i was talking about next year status for greiss' contract. I know Monty isn't nhl level but i think he could be an okay backup in Detroit.

Maybe, I just don't see him being that at least yet. Maybe when he's closer to 26yo. I believe that there are always a bunch of outcasts at his level from other teams available in the FA so I don't care one way or the other.

Panthers were splitting their affiliate with Tampa Bay. Just not enough room to roster everyone.

Kinda surprised about Juulsen.
Very surprised about Dalpe. Maybe he asked to be waived because he knew he wasn't gonna sniff NHL minutes.
Don't care about Montembeault. Gibson is better...still remember when people on here legitimately thought he was the future post-Luongo. There was some hard core slurping as recently as Spring 2019.

Juulsen has just missed so much development time, poor guy. Hopefully he catches on somewhere. At least with Conn, Kiersted, or Priskie you know what you're gonna get from game to game.

It's unfortunate Juulsen has had so much time missed due to injury. A few years back it looked like he was guaranteed to be at least a top-4 defenseman, possibly a top pairing guy.
