My criterias: a mix of talent + probability of making it to the show.
Wowzers that's an ugly list. My best stab at an updated list
It really all depends on what you consider a prospect. Hronek has 46 GP. Cholowski has 52. My cutoff is usually 50 NHL games. Do Taro Hirose and Oliwer Kaski count as prospects? If you count those three:
1. Filip Zadina
2. Filip Hronek
3. Joe Veleno
4. Jared McIsaac
5. Taro Hirose
6. Evgeny Svechnikov
7. Oliwer Kaski
8. Jonatan Berggren
9. Filip Larsson
10. Gustav Lindstrom
If you don't count those guys:
1. Filip Zadina
2. Joe Veleno
3. Jared McIsaac
4. Evgeny Svechnikov
5. Jonatan Berggren
6. Filip Larsson
7. Gustav Lindstrom
8. Vili Saarijarvi
9. Givani Smith
10. Kasper Kotkansalo, maybe?
Agreed, and yet the owner fired the president and gm who built up the current roster and prospect poolThe Rangers have no business icing that team they have right now and also having Schneider as their fifth best prospect…
Ya kings pool is really deep…. Hopefully we start to see some of them pan out this yearAccording to our LA subforum, our top ten as voted on by the community looks like this:
1. Byfield
2. Clarke
3. Turcotte
4. Kaliyev
5. Faber
6. Kupari
7. Thomas
8. Fagemo
9. Madden
Ten is currently a tie between Pinelli and Grans, which just goes to show how wild LA's depth chart is right now. Two early second-round picks that by all accounts could have been taken in the first round battling for 10th place. That's not even counting guys like Spence, Nousiainen, Chromiak, Simontaival, Clague, Kirsanov, and Helenius, who might make some other teams' top tens.
I just wish LA's forward development was a little, uh, better.

This was hard because Dobson, Wahlstrom, and Sorokin have all graduated IMO. Leaving the team with many B level prospects. Feel free to completely disagree with the following list: Nothing wrong with having success.
I see some teams whos best prospects are from the 2017-18 draft and some of their fans say look how good our prospect pool is while shitting on pools who have pretty much nobody from 2019 and before except for the B level because they have already graduated their top picks.
If a team is adding a high-end rookie almost every season while transitioning to legit contender to me that's impressive, especially if they aren't top 3 picks.
Plus B level prospects are important since they save you money and allow you to have internal depth.
