Andrew Ladd
A+ - How he can get less than this, I have no idea. Perhaps since people expect more of a physical game, honestly I did as well I always thought he was more of power forward since his drafting in 04, but he has really developed into a shooting threat. Not turning the puck over anymore, gets the puck out, leading the team in pretty much every offensive category.
Dustin Byfuglien
A - Can take over games, great offensively, been at least good defensively. Unique talent. Core guy you can build around for sure.
Evander Kane
A- - I'm not nearly as high on Kane as other people, but he creates a ton of offense on his own that's for sure. He is going to be a valuable player for a long time.
Tobias Enstrom
A- - Was dominating offensively when in, been pretty decent defensively as well. Still a top pairing D.
Ron Hainsey
B+ - Valuable depth player, can play almost any role assigned to him, we need his veteran presence to help deal with the inconsistencies of the youngsters like Redmond, Postma on the blueline.
Blake Wheeler
B - Really has not been the dynamic offensive force he was last year, but still has 19pts in 24 games. Been struggling defensively though, has trouble getting puck out, seems to be settling into 2nd line type player, IMO.
Bryan Little
B- - Just another average season from Little, right on career averages for offensive production, not too noticable on either side of the puck. Decent year.
Al Montoya
B- - Has looked real good when he plays, certainly beating my expectations.
Nik Antropov
C+ - Offense has been dissapointing, of course has not had much in the way of support. Can't seem to find a role here, needs to be in a place where he can focus as a defensive forward with only streaky offense, not depended on like he is here.
Alexander Burmistrov
C+ - Was really hoping his offense would start to come. 4th year tends to be when breakouts occur, so it's too early to proclaim it will never come. But he is not creating enough plays right now, we'll see. Obviously his defense has still be solid.
Paul Postma
C+ - Had a great start to the year, has tempered off. His passes have not looked as sharp, he is not creating as many plays with his skating. Needs to improve. However his defense has been much better than I thought, has looked fairly decent positionally, including covering and correcting Clitsome and Stuart at times.
Zach Bogosian
C+ - Has not been up to the standards he set last year. His skating and puckhandling has not been up to par so far this year, IMO.
James Wright
C+ - Great positionally, versatile, hits, but is an absolute black hole offensively. Would be lucky to get to double digit points in an 82 game season. Career 4th liner.
Ondrej Pavelec
C+ - Up and down. Has been consistent of late, but needs to do that for a full season. Keeps playing like he has been and Jets have a playoff chance.
Grant Clitsome
C - He is a #8 D for this team that has been forced into playing everyday, including in the top 4. He is doing a fine job overall, mistakes like last night are to be expected of a guy playing way above his head.
Jim Slater
C - Has not had huge amounts of help, but he is just a 4th line C, IMO. Meh.
Chris Thorburn
C - 4th liner, has done average.
Mark Stuart
C- - Has not been as physical, his positioning is not great, certainly shown he cannot be anything more than a bottom pairing guy.
Eric Tangradi
C- - Has shown a willingness to be physical, cycles decently, but has not shown anything offensively. Would much rather have Poni still.
Olli Jokinen
D+ - This guy was brought in to score. And he is not scoring. That is the bottom line here.
Kyle Wellwood
D- - Hated the re-signing, he is only useful on terrible teams as a top 6 guy. Urgh. Not much should have been expected of him.
