Honestly if we sign Zub to 8 years we might actually get the AAV down since he's at an age where security matters more than taking away as much money as possible.

Never seen such a dominant game.

Matched the eye test, we flat out dominated them. Holden needs credit tonight; he was solid--particularly on the PK.

Zub 2 games in a row as our best defender(although tonight arguably). Chabot was excellent as well.

Seems to have injured himself when taking the draw. Whether he flexed it or fell on it, i unno. Whether it's the same shoulder he's had trouble with in the past--I also don't know.

Hurt his shoulder while taking a faceoff. Similar to Pinto last season. He was livid when he got off the ice and smashed his stick in the hallway. Same left shoulder he previously had surgery on, and that kept him out of the lineup last season.

- Getting more impressed by Sanderson every game. There was a play where he skated backward with the puck with a Coyote forward on him unable to reach him.

- Giroux with lots of tiny nifty plays.

- Zub is reaching a different dimension now.

The main reason to hold off on trading for Chychrun is the asking price for a player that might not the greatest fit since what we really need is a shutdown RD.
