They still think Chayka is a top 3 GM over there. They're probably still awaiting his impending 2018 GM of the year award at the end of this season. Some poster last night tried to say Cam Ward has some pretty impressive numbers because he had a .918 save percentage between 2008 and 2012 or something. And the tense they used was not past tense. I'm pretty sure it was ''Has'' and not ''Had''.

Everyone here should be thankful for #35, who looks back to normal this season. And normal for him is a pretty high level of play. And he's facing even more shots per game than he did last year, so I really hesitate to give credit to the team for ''Playing better in front of him''. They are scoring some more goals for him though, and it's nice to not have to read any weird theories on how his style of play stifles your team's offense.

I'll never forget someone arguing that Shane Doan was better than Patrik Elias. It was at least 5 years ago, probably right after the cup finals run.

I think it was that guy Jackass#94 or whatever that Rangers fan's name was. I'm pretty sure he posted on another forum years ago, with a different but similar user name. Like JD#00 or whatever. It was easy to think they were the same person, by reading their content. Back then he was saying something like ''Marty hasn't looked good since Scott Stevens was injured, is it a coincidence? I think not''. It had to be the year Stevens last played, when he was injured in January and wound up never playing again.

This team is something else. What an enjoyable season to this point.

Severson has been incredible. Really, almost quietly playing like a first pairing D man.

Now just cross my fingers for Boyle and Palms.

Devils are red hot but could use a few days off IMO to recharge and get Boyle and Palms back.

holy crap the Devils are in first in the toughest division in hockey with the fewest games at nearly half season played. they also looked unstoppable with a full lineup. this team has depth, hunger, and youth. a #1 defenseman and we might be legit cup contenders. Especially if Cory is playing at the Vezina level he has been recently.

It makes me wonder if the Russian has any regrets of not signing here (if Ray would have even offered).
