Man if Yandle is bought out there's another cheap name that might improve someone's bottom 4.
This off season is gonna be wild.

He’s not improving anything.Man if Yandle is bought out there's another cheap name that might improve someone's bottom 4.

No one, he's a shell of his former self.
The NHL needs to step into these buyouts. I envision Seattle signing Suter, Yandle, and another handful of these buyout vets for close to minimum and then raffling them off to contenders at the deadline for 1st rounders.
Why not just pick from the front runners when the regular season is almost over. Keep in shape but don't kill yourself and then come on in for the playoffs. This isn't gm mode on NHL 21. The players would have to actually agree to that, and if they're signing to league minimum why not just pick your own team in the first place?
I'll take him on the Habs as #6. Way better than Gustaffson or Merill
It’s really crazy how you guys attach yourselves to a former star’s name and think there’s an average decline by age and thereby Yandle is a good option because one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.Man if Yandle is bought out there's another cheap name that might improve someone's bottom 4.

He'll get a chance somewhere, just at less money. He still finished 6th in PP points among defensemen, lots of teams could use him on their PPBuyout.
Is he done? Does he get a shot somewhere else?
Don’t see the point in buying him out. 2.3M->5.4M->1.2M for the following two seasons. A buyout would be short sighted don’t think they should let the expansion draft cause them to make a bunch of moves to protect a defenceman that had a good season (Forsling). We’ve seen that movie already just ride the contract out
