We talk about how WWE ***** on their titles. They finally make the title a huge focal point and people are crapping on it? SD wrestlers are happy they have the main title to fight for. It's good fake-wrestling writing. It makes the title feel larger than life and Dean Ambrose is holding it.

It is a story built around the Shield members and the fallout in the break up.

This storyline was never about the brands, or Steph and Shane and it never should have been.

KO/Sami showed how you do a bloodfeud blow off match tonight.

Exactly. This SHOULD of been the blowoff for the Shield break up. Instead it was drowned out by brand ****.

Should of held off to Summerslam to build this better and let it breath on its own. On its own the match was good, but it just wasn't great.

In a perfect world, they simply should have left the brand split til after Summerslam. That way all the matches could build appropriately. They didn't. Oh well. It happens. It could have been something like...

Orton/Lesnar
Cena/Styles
Club/E&C
Sasha/Flair
Bayley/whomever
Tag titles
etc

SS would have been the ultimate blowoff leading to the post-summer brand split.

I think they would make the main title important if they only had title matches at the big 4 but they won't do it.

Again, I think there's going to be some cross-brand matches for the belts at SummerSlam. The brand-only PPV won't start until after that.

I think if you are making the title this gigantic crown jewel, it needs to be treated that way and RAW bringing Big Goldie back sort of undermines that.
