Whoever out of Boyd and Dowd is better on the PK... roll with that.

My impression is Boyd didn't kill penalties much with Hershey. Can Hershey regulars confirm? They're giving him a chance but I still don't think he's quick enough for it given that PK work requires more demanding lateral movement to block lanes. His skating has improved and his energy has been good but it seems a bit much.

I thought Bowey played well. He seems to be getting better.

It's like Bowey just doesn't know what to do about Orpik. Doesn't play confident with the veteran of veterans next to him, like he doesn't want to mess up in front of papa or doesn't feel right asserting himself and playing naturally. Orpik has enough experience to cover for Bowey's mistakes, but Bowey seems to second guess himself when it's his turn to cover Orpik.
