At times this past season he showed elite level play, but he also went through lulls.

He has a unique skill set. He can stickhandle in the absolute tiniest spaces, and has a laser wrist shot as accurate as any (but not necessarily the quickest release). When he gets an unobstructed SOG, the puck goes in the net at a damn high rate. His defensive metrics are great as well.

Just a matter of him staying healthy and putting in some consistency.

I really liked him in my deep fantasy league last year. He was mostly on PP2 but the kings PP2 was almost better than their PP1.

Mostly played wing last year (Kings fans did he play any C last year?) so we'll see if he can succeed at C.

Only in a pinch, and not well at that. His game is better suited on the wing, unless 'Peg can develop a little more two-way, center lane drive in him.

Pretty solid deal for the Jets. I think he'll be a bargain at that rate over two seasons.
