For the first time in as long as I can remember, I have no idea who half of team USA is. But **** it. Go 'Murica!!!
Also, I await Cardiac's yearly post attempting to deport me
Seems like Roy, Gauthier, and Jost have quite the chemistry...what do we need to offer Colorado to get Jost?
Whatever it takes, make it happen GMRF. Dream come true
You'll have to keep it a dream. Think about how the Canes valued Aho last year at/after the WJC and that's how the Avs feel about Jost right now. They think they've got a gem and Francis would have to way overpay just to get them to listen. Ain't happening.
I'm not one to get bent out of shape about the WJC performance of draft picks, but you'd like to see an offensive defenseman you picked in the top 15 get a point in a 10-2 ass whipping.
Jake Bean has been brutal
does this influence how you look at him at all?
No. That is some far-reaching speculation, and some heavy conclusions being brought from thin revelations.
To call it unconventional would be putting it mildly.
Tim Gleason also refused to sign with the Senators, which is why they traded him to the Kings. And also the whole Steve Ott thing. There was a thread on a different forum the other day that said Tim Gleason turned down an invite to the WJC in between playing at age 17 and 19. Think they even linked an article that mentioned it. Even if he was the first ever, doesn't seem like a big deal. Heck, there are definitely guys that turn down other international tournaments at other points in their careers, so what's the big deal to do it at that level when he already played and won before?
