It's a 23 and under team and he's 24.

Both of them are much higher profile than Zibanejad.

Our players rarely get the respect they deserve unless they are bonafide superstars like Alfie, Karlsson etc...

Probably came down to a center vs winger type of debate, and we all know how Zib has looked on the wing so far in his younf career.

Probably came down to Kruger over Zib simply because Kruger does a better job on the PK and in his own end. I'm still surprised Kruger made that team, but who am I to criticize the decision makers from Team Sweden.
