I always imagined Sip as more like the love-child of Archie Bunker and Don Cherry. You are in danger of becoming more like Oscar the Grouch than like Sipowicz.

Won't happen but Is Samberg eligible as an emergency callup In case defense gets incredibly depleted? The best option to sign Samberg, is to have the UMD season end earlier this season (no championship run) then sign him sometime in mid March and get him into some games. He will use up his first ELC year but hopefully that is the incentive that gets a deal done. He gets his signing bonus money at the time and then the year 2 signing bonus money July 1st and some NHL paychecks in between.

Seem to recall this happened with an ohl goalie and dman a few years back.

Few quick notes from today:
Nikkanen 2A
Valatti 2A
Chisholm 1A
Nikkanen did this morningCan't any of our prospects score a goal?
Something I just learned from this page - Winnipeg Jets at eliteprospects.com - Croix Evingson is in a transfer year and therefore won't be playing this season.
NCAA rules state that a player has to sit out the year if they're transferring schools. Looks like he's attending Niagara but can't play for them until next year. Probably also means that he might as well be written off as a prospect. What does that mean?

2A for Chisholm tonight.
I always pictured Sip as a fictional character and protagonist on the popular ABC television series NYPD Blue.I always imagined Sip as more like the love-child of Archie Bunker and Don Cherry.
He is definitely not going to make it to the AHL. Either he retires, plays overseas, or has a career in the ECHL.At least this way he'll at least get top 4 minutes in his new school. But unless he progresses substantially he'll have a hard time making it to the AHL. Niagara doesn't seem to develop many pros.
10 points in 11 games after a slow ish start. Feels greedy for an 18 year old 4th rounder in an U20 League but I'd really like to see him put up a PPG+.Heatin' up!
Would like to see that get up above for sure for him to stay in the conversation as a legitimate prospect, ideally he'd be in Liiga but that is pretty rare for an 18 year old.10 points in 11 games after a slow ish start. Looks like Nathan Smith is either injured or didn't make Minnesota State's opening game roster.
