That's exactly how I feel. At #3, I'd rather have Turcotte, Byram maybe Cozens. I just feel like those are all NHL players, no busts. Podkolzin is more of a gamble.

Yes. I don't see Larkin ever scoring 40, and more than a 5 goal increase from anybody not named Zadina or Rasmussen would be a stretch.

No kidding. Goal scoring doesn't increase by 25% (or more) for no tangible reason other than getting older.

And 40 goal scorers are an elite group.

I would say that’s unreasonable.

I hate to get into discussions of limiting ceilings, but 40 is a very elite goal scorer. The only person I see making a jump of 10+ next year would be Mantha. Bert, Larkin, and Athanasiou all have had a decent bump in shooting percentage, where Mantha actually regressed. He’s also missed 15 games which is quite a bit more than the others.

Quick update... McIsaac and Halifax just won Game 7 3-1 and is moving on to the 2nd Round... Finished with a Goal and 4 Assists in 6 Games.
