If you’re gonna use those stats, you also have to report that the Lightning have a vezina calibre goalie and very good defense. Kane ain’t working with a whole lot.current info:

I am just putting the head to head stats together, next closest scorer and team performance which seems to be the big 3 things to look at..I think Kucherov is just on a stacked team and what Kane is doing is far superior, but I am also a homer who doesn't see Kuch play every game.If you’re gonna use those stats, you also have to report that the Lightning have a vezina calibre goalie and very good defense. Kane ain’t working with a whole lot.
Based on what? Being the second best one-dimensional offensive point-producer? Being one of maybe half a dozen players who are on a tier immediately below McDavid & Crosby?I'd give him the Lindsay

Then why won't the players vote for Kucherov then? He's the one scoring the most points. Its a seasonal award. Kane is certainly a tier below McDavid and Crosby sum total, but his performamce this season has not been. He’s probably played as well or better than anybody in the league this season.

IF the Hawks make the playoffs and if Kane is within 5 points of Kucherov then I think he should and will win it. If one or both of those things don’t happen then he shouldn’t.
Lots of main board hand ringing about the Hart trophy. I don’t think it should go to any top 5 scorer on a bubble team, but Kane is having a fantastic season. The Hawks would be a bottom 5 team for sure. Toews, DBC, and Gus wouldn’t be putting up anywhere near the point totals they are now either.
Hope Kane can get 50 goals...he has a small shot
You've been rather quiet lately...I wonder why...
Have I? I've just been enjoying some good Hawks hockey and I feel this board is just too negative with all the constant tank for Hughes crap.... When I have said all along as long as Kane is in the lineup this team will not finish at the bottom.
Now as I expected he is going to put this team in the playoffs almost by himself while pretty much saving Toews career who may even finish top 30 in scoring.
Weither that is good for the future is up for debate but i'm just enjoying watching the Hawks win.
