We can't even call up Rathbone unless someone gets injured. We blew all of our AHL call ups already.
Just let him play in the AHL playoffs, there is zero reason to call him up now.We can't even call up Rathbone unless someone gets injured. We blew all of our AHL call ups already.
Doesn't help that the backup can't give him any sort of rest.I don't blame Demko for being tired there. His first "Full" season as a starting goaltender, he was bound to breakdown. Consider this season as a learning curve. Onto next year.
Team hit a wall, Demko let in a couple softies and the Wild outmuscled the canucks and kept them to the perimeter.
Ugggh really?
Chainsaw man f***ing up your tank and being a garbage time superhero. It could work seeing as our other garbage time super hero is currently indisposed.also my kid started calling chiasson “chainsaw” tonight. if i liked him and he was staying i would insist that this catches on
but i don’t think he’s earned that nickname actually
Pretty sure...swear I saw something to this extent recently.
I know we used 2 recalls to paper Petan and Podkolzin to the AHL for playoff eligibility.
Garland is now the guy we can put anywhere and that line is the best line

It was Arthur Griffiths.
The club was considering wholesale changes & almost didn't re-sign Green.
Then Griffiths intervened & talked to Aquilini.
According to Griffiths:
"I told him, 'Look, you’ve got a great young core group of players, a great coach and management..'"
Aquilini listened & the reign of error continued.
Coming into tonight he was 2nd on the team in 5v5 goals, and 1st on the team in 5v5 primary assists(2nd in overall assists at 5v5).Garland went on a run but he wasn’t very good or noticeable for a large chunk of the middle portion of the season. That’s fine. Players can run hot and cold like that but his peaks and valleys are like that of second line guy and not a top line guy. They are pretty extreme. There’s an energized bunny aspect to him that looks exciting but often he achieves very little (not of late obviously but a good chunk of the year).
He’s not an untouchable. He’s a complementary player on a decent contract but he’s likely in the 40-50 point range and that’s about it. You maybe don’t look to actively move him but you certainly can if someone gives you a good deal on him.
This guys seeing red he thought Nucks were gonna go on a cup run, time to grow upNot a good time for insight from opposing fans. Sorry.
