Why is USA spitting out big talents out of sudden?

Pickford at 28M is what is skewing the values.

Everyone picks on the US "for their resources" but how the hell is China and to an extent India so awful? You just need 23 players out of 1.4 billion. China is the second wealthiest country in the world as well, India somewhere in the top 10, so while poor per capita, not broke by any means. Japan and Korea are also Asian countries and do pretty well, so it's not like a magical continental barrier.

In any case the USA is rising and there are definitely more serious talents than Pulisic and McKennie (haven't followed in some time, but Dest, Reyna, Musah all sound promising) but I don't see them being a top tier country anytime soon. The gulf is just too wide. Funny enough I feel like the US team was more of a threat to the Euro/South American powers in the 2000s when their players were far less renowned and hyped (Donovan, McBride) than today's.

Canada's performances are more excusable. 38 million, not that big of a country, and it's pretty cold. The utter dominance in ice hockey sort of overshadows underperforming in soccer. Plus we have Davies, honestly quite arguably the best player from North America today including both the USA and Mexico.

Something needs to happen with the federation because they spit out talent with potential (Soto, Yuell) and got beaten 2-1 in Olympic qualifying

These lads NEED more games in the Olympics to improve their game against the world's best

the talent may be there but the coaching is questionable

China is trying but must be something with their federation, because they are often encouraging youth there to participate in sports for pride of their country

These US fans are just gonna slander the past teams more even though they almost won a bronze medal playing against way better players in 2000. That's pretty much how this works now.
