Cozens is also a good choice. But I don't think there's any better than zemgus at this time. This guy gives every game 100%. The age also fits, not too young

No one really jumps out as captain material right now. I don't know if they do another "clearly not a long-term choice" bridge captain a la Gionta/Ott or if they just roll with 3 As.

Down the road, of guys already here, I could definitely see Cozens developing into captain material. He plays with grit and passion, which you love to see from your captain as a fan. He wore the C for Canada at the WJC, which is no small feat, and for Lethbridge before that, so he's been put in leadership roles at lower levels.

Cozens is the C down the road. Right now? Probably Okposo. Though having your captain injured all the time might be a bit demoralizing.

The best choice for a captain is whomever is truly leading in the room , and getting everyone else to follow him.

As outsiders, no fan can really know who that is. It never ceases to amaze me why fans get so spun up about this.
