The difference for me is that Crosby would be named captain if they were on the same team, at any point.

Where do you think Daniel Sedin ranks compared to the next tier of guys from today like Pasta/Panarin/Rantanen/Matthews/Draisaitl/Pettersson? Exactly the same caliber of player?

Mackinnon is a great player. He is not Crosby.
