I knew this would turn into another blind Brady bashing thread.

Funny how when your team beats him in the Superbowl twice, the hatred subsides and the green colored glasses come off.

This isn't a bash Brady thread....and lastly GB's Oline was a dumpster fire they had several backups playing that were recently thrusted in due to injuries.

If talking active players there's no NHL equivalent currently. Brady is a winning machine while also being individually one of the greatest of all time. If Crosby wins a couple more cups he'd be the closest.

They played Buffalo, Seattle, the Jets, and San Francisco.

11 guys off the street would go 3-1 in those games.

They played one team and lost to them.

11-5 with matt cassel? Also youre wrong on who they played. It was arizona and houston

Did you just watch that game tonight? Brady was getting hit left and right most of the game and had absolutely no running game.

If Brady had Dallas' Oline, good luck.

He sure did. And Brady carried a garbage team on his back all the way in 2014. This roster leaves a lot to be desired as well.

A team with gronk edelman revis hightower mccourty etc is garbage? Wow just absurd. Again 11-5 with matt cassel, 3-1 without brady this year

That was nine seasons ago. What does that have to do with this roster that has nothing outside of Brady?

The point is that without the "GOAT QB", the Patriots still had a better winning percentage than any other franchise over the last 15 years.

Yeah, he has a great defense, but outside of Gronk, he has absolutely nothing to work with on offense.

What's wrong with their roster? They got the 2nd best Oline in the league(you know the most important thing to have for your QB) descent receivers and descent RBs best TE and the no.1 scoring D....wow what a terrible roster.

holding the ball for nearly 5 secs in the NFL against any team will get you sacked normally...sorry it actually applied for one game for Brady who can't handle a smidgen of pressure.

Things to learn from this thread:

1) A lot of hockey fans on here don't know what they're talking about when it comes to the NFL

2) Toews

It is indisputable that belichick is the best gm in the nfl. Brady also takes well below market value on his contract due to endorsements etc.

So you are trying to argue that the best gm in the nfl with "extra" cap space has created a bad roster around brady? Absolutely ridiculous

Picking a fight
Brady has never had teammates anywhere near as good as Toews.

And Brady won championships with two different rosters. He was one of two guys on the Superbowl XLIX that was on any of the Patriots previous SB winners and he was the only guy this year.

Don't think you're off at all with the Blackhawks comparison, as they are the closest dynasty hockey has, but it's very disingenuous to say Brady was in the right place at the right time.

He is the right place. He is the right time.

Gronkowski
Moss
Welker
Mankins
McGinnest
Harrison
Seymour
Wilfork
Vinatierri
Law
Bruschi

I mean, Brady has played with some really great defenses. Just compare him to Manning in Indy. Both had great receivers (Harrison, Wayne, Clark v. Moss, Welker, Gronk), but those Indy teams had some brutal defenses. The early 2000's Pats D's were great.
