Honestly in my head most of his success came in the 90s. I was wrong.

Normally when I think "wasn't that 5 years ago?" it ends up being 15. But this is a rare case where I thought things happened earlier than they actually did. Brodeur should absolutely be up there.

are my locks. 4th spot is much harder. You could lean on those players who split time between the 90‘s and 2000s like Brodeur, Hasek, Pronger, Jagr, and even Lemieux (his return was absolutely insane, not to mention leading Canada to its first OG in 50 years and first "major" since 91). Or go for a still active player like Kane or Malkin or Kieth. Tough call.
