Strictly speaking its possible if those numbers are reasonable which they are, but there's not a lot of wiggle there, but presumably the cap will as it generally has increase by about ten million every 3-5 years.

Wish there was a way to get a Lindholm-Karlsson pairing in Anaheim... sadly that won't happen.

Despite a lot of people wishing it would happen I really doubt the Avs are interested. They're still growing out of the rebuild and wont be winning next year. They are also super set on defense as is and need all the picks and prospects they can get right now.

The Avs want an EK type of player which is why they drafted Makar last year. So him alongside Barrie, Girard and Timmins likely to make the jump next year makes for a crowded blue line.

I get why any team would want to get the best Dman in the world and also why Ott fans desperately want to get that 1st back but it really makes little sense.
