I'm so glad we traded Taylor Hall and got this stellar D watching the Sharks walk right in on net all game. f***ers were practically directing traffic. Nurse was our best D, hands down, as per usual.

Larsson and Klefbom are a clownshow as a top pairing. We'd just get exposed in the playoffs anyway.

The Oilers are like he bermuda triangle. Yawney comes in. D looks like garbage or gets worse lol.

This team is something. Crosby and Malkin and 2 top dmen could come in and I think we would miss the playoffs somehow.

It's not explainable. Should be a documentary on it.

I honestly feel that anytime the Oilers see anyone from the old boys club near the team, it actually uninspires them rather then having the opposite effect.
Also, Someone from upstairs is telling Hitchcock to continue playing Talbot when that needs to come to a stop! He is absolute garbage at home!

Nurse and Russell for like...the 3rd game in a row was our worst pairing statistically

When you have a defence in front of you that constantly and consistently backs in and gives up prime scoring areas AND on top of that they masterfully screen you I dont cast a lot of blame at Talbot.
The team in front of him was an absolute embarrassment. Its a cornucopia of stupid.

I sincerely hope they trade Talbot...he deserves much better than playing behind this s*** show.
I dont disagree but Cam has lost something in his game. He used to look so calm and composed, he would square up to shots well. And now he looks small in the net and slow to react. I dont blame him for this at all but he isnt playing well either.

IMO he needs a change. This team kills goalies over time.
The same thing has started to happen to Koskinen and its just going to get worse unless the roster is changed.

You think this is bad...just wait until Koskinen has played a season behind these players.

If you were facing the Sharks as a goalie with an Oilers jersey on you wouldn't look calm either. You would look like a diver in the middle of a Shark feeding frenzy.

The Oilers completely mailed in their own zone efforts once again.

The laughter you saw on the Sharks faces all night was how easy it was to walk right into the slot wide open and fire away.

Once again the Oilers showed zero fight or compete in own zone. Or really any zone.

The way the teams came out this was over pretty quick. Gotta give Deboers and the Sharks credit. This is an absolutely nothing game for them in the dogdays of February against a league worst team and they still were bringing a professional effort. But lets not kid ourselves. This was not even a good game from the Sharks. This was a game suggesting that the white flag was already waved at 2-0 if not long before that. The Sharks PP efforts were so laughable in this game its like they were trying to avoid severely spanking us. The Sharks PP looked sympathetic.

Hitch should re retire. Watching the post game pressers is night and day from his hiring. Coaching the Oilers has stolen his soul and he sounds depressed. It's not good at his advanced age.

I will understand.
