Our offense is there but our system continuity sucks. Our lines are dynamiclly unsound, the chemistry is forced all over the place, nothing natural is happening out there because of this. Our goalie gets pulled with 2:12 to go? This is the NHL you can score two possibly three goals in 2:12. We are facing a rookie coach who is not easy to sway, Krueger is Krueger and he is predictable, with our line combos he is refusing to go back and adjust decisions that contain a lot of his personal feelings, what I mean is that there is a seperation between what we do at work and what we sometimes "want" to do at work, there are decisions and risks we cannot take on the job that we would take in our personal lives, this line is blurred for Ralph right now and he is taking to long to recognise bad dynamic situations and to long to react to them on the ice. This is a professional assesment not a personal one, Ralph is showing his stubborn streak at the wrong time in a shortened season. If I hear Ralph talking about rest and nutrition after a loss again I will throw up on my laptop.
Krueger is doing some really good things, we have shown an excellent ability to adjust our system during games in a very fast manner especiall the last 3 games, this is critical to our sucess this year. The problem has been that we are simply to slow in identifyng dynamic focal points during the games, we are not targeting - tracking- and identifying what opposition teams are doing to our system anywhere near fast enough, and when we do we arent getting superior communication and integration of our off-ice assets in any type of organised manner. Our player managment on-ice has been sub-par, we are finally getting to see players like Hall and Nuge and Ebbs show us what dimensions of their games they have found comfort zones in but we arent identifying and utilising these evolutions at all, Ralph is focusing on system play 100% which is perfect but he has to little emotion or intuative input into this process, and it is showing up now in our performances and our reactions to challenges and our choices when we are under pressure. we need to define a finer line between the way the coach interprets the system and the way the players interpret their options when it comes to fulfilling system responsibilitys. We need to see less Krueger and more player personality in the execution of our system needs. This means we dont pull our goaltender with 2:12 left in an NHL game no matter what, we TRUST the men to manifest offense for us, we show some faith. If anyone thinks this goaltender issue is a small one they are wrong, because it leads directly to our reluctance to change the dynamic structure of our lines, which has led us to a definate lack of 3rd line and 4th line scoring due to a refusal to reunite the veteran line by dropping Hemmers 60 minute scoring threat to the 3rd line where it belongs. MPSs treatment is another facet we are led to, it is wrong to deny his skillset fits the 2nd line perfectly and this is a symptom of a greater illness, to much of Ralphs personality is shining through, this team is defined by well placed tactical dynamic communication on the outside but on the inside its all Kruegers personality.
Ralph needs to learn that the first step is teaching the system and attaining consistant results, the second step is defining and identifying the assets he has that he can interject into that base platform system execution, its called mixing it up and manifesting chemistry using intuative analysis and not relying on system continuity alone and this dynamic goes against Ralphs mindset, no one ever analyses our coaches perspective enough. Ralph is a live and die by the system man, that is where he finds his answers and he is very good at this from an analytical perspective so we need to maximise his effect as much as we can. You want your offense back then ask Ralph to start using the NewAge Hockey System, if he doesnt know what it is tell him to google it, it is a system that uses Intuative Analysis as a core value component. I used it to dynamicly identify the Avs system strengths and weaknesses in about ten minutes of hockey last game and it worked perfectly, at the end of the game had the NHS principals been initiated we would have seen a different result. Ralph made some good adjustments but the speed isnt anywhere near the level we need it to be at, this is where the intuative analysis comes in, it is lightening fast and is deadly accurate. We will be back dicussing this same topic in five games because I see no way to interject anything beyond statistical BS/or system results based analysis into our system and our coaches perspective, there is no available accepted and formally recognised system that can do this, just an unproven word of mouth program based on Intuition of all things and called the NewAge Hockey System. Maybe its going to take a moma2s intuition to take this team to the next level.
