How a contemporary player would play, when traveling -- like Austin Powers -- by time-machine into another era, is unimportant and of no interest whatsoever to discuss.
But to dispel a couple of points:
Keep in mind he would be playing close to 30mintues a game
There's no way he'd be playing close to 30 minutes a game on average. The maximum might be 25 for a couple of years when he was young (if his coach allowed it), but considerably less thereafter.
In 1981-82 Gretzky (according to Sather) played 24-26 minutes a game, but was tired by season's end. Sather announced that he was cutting his ice-time down to 22-23 minutes for 1982-83. That's probably about what a top-forward played then. Since, in 2007-08, Ovechkin averaged 23:06 ice-time per game, it probably wouldn't change in any era.
with double the amount of powerplays.
There were not double the amount of power-plays in the 80s.
Average number of times a team had PP-opportunities:
2014-15 = 3.28 / game
2011-12 = 3.30 / game
2008-09 = 4.16 / game
2005-06 = 5.85 / game
2000-01 = 4.59 / game
1993-94 = 4.85 / game
1986-87 = 4.30 / game
1984-85 = 4.01 / game
1982-83 = 3.88 / game
How many goals would Ovechkin score in the NHL in 2035? Probably about 12.
