Chiarelli buit this team, this is the team he wanted. He bet the farm on Lucic and Larsson.

Why some people have such a hard time believing that is beyond me.

It's the same garbage we were sold when he got here "don't worry about Seguin trade! Neely totally forced Chiarelli to do it!".

Bull shit. That guy is a straight up moron, and that's how he operates. Plain and simple.

When things are good he is given 100% credit, when things are bad then magically he's being forced into bad decisions. That's a nice way to have zero accountability for anything.

Most successful people learn from failures. Look at Torts in Clb, currently coaching one of the strongest teams in the playoffs. Same with Berube
Coaches, yes because quite often they are fired as a result of the failure of the general manager .. our team is a perfect example .. coaching has been the least of our problems . Poor management is the major reason here ... Generally , most of the successfull g.m's leave on their own terms have a falling out with ownership or move into higher positions . Not to say a young up and coming guy would be bad .. when we hire a this time around, the guy has to have few blemishes on his record .
For the record ,I was not happy with the Chiarelli hiring .. too many brutal trades in his history , unfortunately, he more than doubled down on those when he got here.
Seemed like the more he was under pressure the more brutal the moves were .. here and in Boston.
