well all , I was at this game....

Dustin sucks...2 not his fault, but 3 very weak

DD is a waste , he brings zip......

Chucky needs to step up, he was not in this

the crowd of hab fans chanting "Carey Carey" was gold in the 3rd

Those were Habs fan?

What about the "We want Carey" chant, were those Habs fans too?

I don't understand what's up with DSP. I remember watching him with the Ducks and he was quite noticeable in these games with his physical play. He was hitting everything that moved and was playing an in your face style which is something we just haven't seen from him with the Habs other than a shift here and there.

Western Conference is a lot slower

Tokarski was just.... wow lol... couldn't have played much worse. And then he looks like he's going to cry so I feel bad hating on him.

I felt bad the first time too but he does that after every loss now. He needs to man the f up and make some key saves for a change. He can cry all he wants but if he's going to suck every damn game, he might as well go back in juniors where he belongs.

coulda been a classic game if Price was in, 1-1 or 2-1 going into 3rd. Instead Tokarski had sharted all over the game. Was a big test for him and he flopped. This guy has failed all year long against bottom 5 teams, time to dust him back to AHL and get a legit NHL backup, would like to see the Habs sign Razor this summer, he's always been a big game player.

Meh, just one of those games. Team played well for the most part. Pavelec played terrific and Tokarski had a rough game. It happens. On to the next game!

It might not be a bad thing for us to finish 2nd in the division. Home ice advantage against the Wings? I like our chances. Don't want Washington.

Eller has had a significant drop in his play since moving back to centre and De La Rose is far less noticeable and effective on the wing. Time to switch those 2 back to where they were a few games ago.

I was at the game too, completely agree with the bolded part. I think Chucky played a pretty 'meh' game, he did hit bar in the first though no?

Btw the chant was "We want Carey" :laugh:

I brought this up when the trade happened but some just didn't even want to admit it as a possibility.
DSP was playing that style on the Ducks. They're bigger and more physical. The Habs are not a physical team at all, and DSP is just a kid. I had my doubts that he'd be able to play the same style over here. Look at how Therrien wanted White to play.

Shall I compare thee to Carey Price's play?
Thou art much smaller and more unfocused:
Rough nerves do shake this darlings play come May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of hab fans shine,
And often is his gold playoff complexion dimm’d;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or this youth's changing course untrimm’d;
But thy post-season summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of these wins thou owest;
Nor shall losses brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou never growest:
So long as fans can breathe or eyes can see,
So long as Tok' plays, he gives losses to thee.

Good game, I hope you guys make it far in the post-season. Wishful thinking for sure, but a Jets-Canadiens SCF would make for an electric atmosphere to say the least.
