Ovi:
Top 10 points = 1/2/2/3/3/4/7/8
Top 10 goals = 1/1/1/1/1/1/1/3/3/4/5
Hart = 1/1/1/2/6/6/9
Sid:
Top 10 points = 1/1/2/2/3/3/3/3/6/10
Top 10 goals = 1/1/7/7
Hart = 1/1/2/2/2/3/5/6
Kane:
Top 10 points = 1/2/5/9
Top 10 goals = 2/5/10
Hart = 1/6/6/7
Even if Kane somehow won the Ross/Rocket/Hart this season, he'll still be miles behind Crosby and Ovi. All the are on the back-half of their careers, Ovi will probably win the rocket this season, and continue to be top 10 for a while. Crosby has just as much of a shot at getting high point finishes as Kane does into their mid-30's. It's not close.
and what makes it even more clear as day are the PPG/GPG finishes
PPG
Ovechkin: 1,1,1,5,5,8,9,9
Crosby: 1,1,1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,6
Malkin: 1,2,2,3,3,3,4,7,8
Kane: 1,3,4,4,5
GPG
Ovechkin: 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,5,5,6
Crosby: 1,1,2,10
Malkin: 2,3,3,6,6
Kane: 2,3,7
(because Malkin's Top 10s weren't posted)
Points: 1,1,2,4
Goals: 2,4,4
Hart: 1,2,2
If you cancel common finishes for each metric, here's what it would look like:
Kane - OV: T10 Points, Goals, Hart, PPG, GPG
5,9 : 2,3,3,4,7,8
2, 10 : 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,3,3,4
6,7 : 1,1,2,9
3,4,4 : 1,1,5,8,9,9
3,7 : 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,5,5,6
Kane - Crosby: T10 Points, Goals, Hart, PPG, GPG
5,9 : 1,2,3,3,3,3,6,10
Goals stay the same
6,7 : 1,2,2,2,3,5
4,5 : 1,1,1,1,2,2,3,6
3,7 : 1,1,10
Kane - Malkin: T10 Points, Goals, Hart, PPG, GPG
5,9 : 1,4
5,10 : 4,4
6,6,7 : 2,2
4,5 : 2,2,3,3,7,8
7 : 3,6,6
Literally in every metric, Kane comes
DEAD last
