No team that lost game #1 of a seven game series, has EVER come back to win that series.
Oh, oh. We are in deep.
It's tough being optimistic after a game like this. We looked totally over matched.

Tonight was the expected outcome of a physical team vs skating team.
Kadri has a record of suspensions! That will possibly get him a 2nd game.
If you came away from this game thinking Komarov and Polak were the main reasons we lost, then cool. There's no discussion left. We lacked intensity and grit (demonstrated by the Bruins, the Kings/Knights and Jets/Wild) yet that's apparently "1993"
What the **** is Komarov for? If he is not doing those things, he is useless.
The last time Kadri got suspended was in 2015 and in 2016 he was given a fine for diving. So in rules of the NHL he is no longer considered a repeat offender.Kadri has a record of suspensions! That will possibly get him a 2nd game.
1 for Kadri, 1 for Wingels.
He's been nothing but useless for a long time.

Lol, you could write for the Toronto SunIts Kessel's fault.
Can we call up Svehla or Yushkevich? Tucker too? Add a bit of Roberts.
Unfortunately it's all about optics these days and the media hacks have already decided it's a suspension.I dont think Kadri will get suspended. Wingels fell. Kadri was already committed to the hit. But who knows

True. The intensity actually plummeted. Instead of getting angry, they tucked their collective tail between their legs.
PKKomarov 16:00
Matthews 15:24
Polak 18:51
Gardiner 18:46
Rielly 18:23
Does Babcock know that there's no such thing as tanking in the playoffs?
I wish. Yushkevich was such a solid defender. Imagine replacing that plug Polak with him
Only thing that matters now is Kadri better not get suspended
Me too, Komarov is taking a run at Aki's legendary statusI wish. Yushkevich was such a solid defender. Imagine replacing that plug Polak with him
