Not going to post the tweet as I am not sure if it is reliable. The claim is that CBJ is asking for a Top-6 Forward, a top draft pick, plus another asset for Panarin.

Though not confirmed, that ask makes sense.

The packages I'd offer are Bjugstad + Borgstrom + Tippett

Bjugstad + Matheson (though this is an overpay and hurts the team tremendously at the blue line).

Trocheck + 1st (this will get me some **** flinged at me).

CBJ also reported to not allow teams to speak with Panarin regarding extension. Too much risk for someone going into UFA next year.

I don't believe Tallon, or very many other GM's, would give up a package like that for what could possibly be a one year rental.

If CBJ won't allow extension talks they are hurting their trade options.
