Player audio: Hellebuyck, Little, Ehlers and Roslovic.

Coach Maurice: Can he say anything about Patrik Laine's status? Ho does he feel about his special teams in the playoffs? Which will be tested more by Nashville? Are special teams as big as ever in this series? Players expecting not as many power plays. 5 on 5 play suiting the Jets. On the notion of being an "underdog". Does the Nashville experience edge become less significant now that the Jets have won a series? How do players stay mentally sharp during this extended break between series? Does he seen the excitement in the young players? How does he keep the players focused regardless of score? How do they deal with the aggressive Nashville D? On Bryan Little playing on the top power play unit.

What's your excuse?
Back to the topic of 1st overall playing 2nd overall in the 2nd round; if Boston beats Toronto tonight, the the 2nd round will also feature 3rd overall playing 4th overall, meaning 2 out of the top 4 overall teams will be out of the postseason after round 2.

Honestly, is there a play-off format involving 16 teams that make everyone happy? Probably not, because there is no system that guarantees the top 2 teams meet in the final series. It is what it is.

TO BE THE MAN YOU GOTTA BEAT THE MAN!

Almost guaranteed to be Tuesday Thursday. Bridgestone is booked on May 6 so Game 5 would almost certainly be Saturday May 5.

Start times are probably dependant on whether or not Leafs advances, plus the impact of the NBA playoffs since Raptors Celtics & Wizards are all still alive.
You can almost start mapping it out based on arena availability. Bridgestone has events May 4, 6 and 9. Bell MTS place has events on May 8 & 9. So Likely April 27 (Fri) & 29 (Sun) in Nashville, May 1 (Tue) & 3 (Thurs) back in Winnipeg. Game 5 May 5 (Sat) in Nashville, Game 6 May 7 (Mon) in Winnipeg and then game 7 back in Nashville on May 10 (Thurs).

1v16. Re-seed after every round. Highest seed plays the lowest.

Most notably that "Gnashville" character. His handle is very appropriate:madfire:

Yeah, he wanted to conceded the cup to Winnipeg. Too him he was too kind

Then I doubled posted after that ...oops

They insulted my crown so I insulted their taste in Jets to be smashed ..

Canada’s team!

Gardiner was beyond brutal but Lafs were outshot 1/2

Freddie got Fingered.

Guess we get Hewson and Simpson

Yey

I really didn’t care who won that game, but wow what a horrible display of inconsistent reffing. The Bruins were able to throw headlocks and take downs on any leaf that came near Rask when he cover the puck (Jets series this was always a penalty, usually one guy), last 3 minutes DeBrusk slashes Gardiners stick right out of his hand in front of the ref, no call. Then Chara rapes Hymen in front, tossing him to the ground and headlock and punch to the back of the head...and I hate the Leafs, but wow every time I watch Boston they seem to get the refs without whistles!

Haha at networks holding out hope for Toronto to beat Boston. Wish they had lost yesterday so the orbiting hockey teams could have a schedule made.

Just put Tor/Bos on Saturday. So you missed out on the Jets if Toronto doesn't make it, but:

Haha
