I was lol'ing more at Brown-Lewis-King. I don't know what to make of that.

Just a hunch, but maybe DS is using them, and their size, as a shut down line against Thornton. That would free up Kopi's line more. Richrads line was pretty good vs Couture's.

As good as Richards and Carter have been, Penner will make that line more complete. King is not a top 6 player and doens't have those instincts, esp vs other top 6's. Trying to fit a round peg into a square hole- won't work.
Penner can use his size to strongarm the puck and make space and he can finish and that will give that line a LW finally.

I just love Mike Richards. We call whine about how Thornton was mishandling him last night but I think that's massively overblown. The team as a whole didnt play well that 1st period. Joe had way to much time and space, Richie is 5'11 and Thornton 6'4". To me he has been the Kings best forward these playoffs.

This is the healthiest MR"s been since 2010 playoffs (where he was 17 pts in the first 12 games first 2 round before going agasint CHara every shift for 7 games took a physical toll, ended up 23/23) and it shows. And , like any good coach, he exposed that fact that Thorton has 6 inches and 40 lbs. on Richards. Given that, Richards did the best he could

We've already lost 4 games in these playoffs while we lost 4 in the entire playoffs last year. Kinda makes me sad we're not as dominant. But beating these punkass Guppies would make up for it.

What the Kings did last year was like a once in a lifetime type of run. We can't expect a run like that again, especially when the top forwards on the team haven't decided to show up yet.

The Kings haven't lost at home this year.

Last time, the Kings lost two in a row in the playoffs(also on the road), They came back and won 6 straight.

Go Kings!

Not cool in my opinion.

You can make fun of people for their hair, their weight, their clothing, in other words things they can control or choices they make. It's in poor taste to comment on things out of one's control whether it's looking like an animal, living in a plastic bubble, or being born with your arm in the middle of your back

Brown could sneeze on the bench and someone would make a thread about it "Classless Sneezing Displayed By Brown! Didn't Cover Mouth!!111!111!"

I'm surprised they enjoyed his upside-down water bottle incident instead of trying to suspend him for trying to drown whoever was near the bench.

He was obviously adding water to the playing surface. This would establish an unfair advantage for the Kings because they would know where said wet spot was and could avoid it while luring the opposition to skate on it thus injuring themselves. He's done this numerous times, but was only caught that one time. He's ditched that method and now has a surgically inserted magnetic elbow that could go crazy at any moment. Proceed with caution.

All the ice specialists/scientists in the main board will agree on that. It's science.

Is that crazy enough?

Is Couture serious about his comments on Brown? Lol how ironic, since rat boy is always snapping his head back and diving.

Anyone else notice the patch on Williams' left shoulder in the 5/22 post practice interview?

Yeah, that was...interesting. Equally Pejorative Slured are Galiardi's comments about Quick embellishing. But you know what? They're running their mouths to the media now...interesting...

Maybe it's like an icy hot patch...Whatever it is, hope it gets better soon.

Its Kinesio tape, remember that everybody was making a big deal about it in the last Olympics. Could be trying to help with an injury.

After reading up on it, its supposed to help with hurt joints or muscles. Much debate on either or not it helps though.

He's such a whiner. He also whined about Vlasic's delay of game penalty, it was hilarious.
