If this team plays anything like they did monday night the series is all but over tonight. I am cautiously optimistic about this game. 9:30 cannot come quick enough.

I'm more concerned about the Hawks next round and the Ducks in the Conference Finals.

And most likely the Wings in the Finals...got to be something birdy or at last something with wings, right?

If the Wild can manage to play the same game tonight that they did on Monday, then I think the series is over, figuratively speaking. The Blues may win another taking it to 6 games, but I don't see them winning 3 straight if they lose tonight.

Gotta have this one to protect home ice.

I think Hitch's comments yesterday were to try to get us come into this game a little to confident. I feel that's what happen in the first period on Saturday.

The 1st PP unit has done literally nothing this series. At this point something outside of box needs to be done. Suter can't get the puck though to the net. Put guys back there that can and throw Stewart and Brodz up front to crash the net.

Trying to be pretty hasn't work all year. Time to try a little dirty work.

Zucker should be getting PP time as well.

I don't think the PP units are changing. They've been set in stone for a while, I don't see Brunette/Yeo changing them now.

Zucker's game isn't really suited for the PP anyway.

Wild's PP play in the playoffs is chugging along at 25%....I don't see why they would make any changes now.

Discount Pommers goal. Dumba's goal was all Stewart to win a battle on the end boards then screen Allen.

Frustrating to see a over 40 million dollar unit (in real money) generate nothing. No momentum, nothing.

As someone who works in the arena and has a morning class tomorrow, please God don't let this go into OT.

Suter is just useless on the point and Koivu only wins draws pretty much.

Right...25% isnt a true representation......9 out or 10 times its useless.....and actually scoring is one thing buy it literally seems like there isnt even a momentum gain. If anything it feels like it just disrupts their 5 on 5 flow which is usually quite good.

Yeah it could be worse...but i can see it hurting too.much to at least try subbing a few guys in or try just rolling the regular lines. The whole "specialist" unit th8ng just aint working.....the regular lines especially as of late have some chemistry. Whats the worst thing that could happen??

Oh and go wild! Lean on em at puck drop and just increase the pressure...slowly squeezing the life from their eyes....and when they are wobbly in the knees. Strike the fatal blow

It's game 86 and the PP hasn't changed at all in 1-85. It's not gonna happen now.

With the little practice and training camp time teams have, your better off spending that time on things that apply to the 56 minutes of a game that are spent 5 on 5, not the PP situations that barely arise.
If the PP was better, you can guarantee another area of the team is worse like forechecking, backchecking, gap control, positioning, etc.
I'd rather have excellent 5 on 5 play with a crappy PP than average 5 on 5 play with a great PP.

a valid point i suppose.....at this point probably just leave it....but mid season i think not trying other things was a big mistake.

Can't wait until game time! Making some buffalo chicken dip, picking up some beer, and meeting with a bunch of buddies at one of their houses to watch the game and have a good time! Would like to see a couple early goals and watch the Blues hopes stomped out right away! GO WILD!

If we start looking past the blues we'll give them the entry point they need to establish themselves. Focus on the blues until the handshake line, then we worry about what comes next.
