Awesome... I was kinda excited about DVR'ing this game and getting a chance to see him in it. At least I know Megna has a hatty to look forward to.

Fun Fact Edit: Megna has a brother named Jaycob. He's 6'6" and plays defense for Norfolk.

Probably because their father's name is Jay. He played in the NFL. Not sure if he was any good, though. Hand egg isn't my thing.

I had such high hopes for that guy - he was every bit as good a shutdown defenseman as Staal in junior. Too bad injuries so totally derailed him.

Must be a nice boost to get a guy that has 27 games of NHL playoff experience to make a Calder Cup run, though he might be in terrible shape, idk.

I believe it was reported by either JB or Highland Park that he is in fact hurt/injured. I also don't think it was considered too serious or something that would have him out for an extended period of time.

I wouldn't call him up but he's definitely earned another contract, 10 shots tonight! Escobedo (aka the body double we're going to use to get Despres back) had a great night 1G 2A.

I think he's waiver elligible so hopefully he's in the NHL next year. Maybe not an every day player but an extremely useful 13th forward.
