Was Laine - PLD a lose/lose?

Both teams seem worse. Laine on the 4th line on a team with no centers. PLD has been a lot worse than expected. Roslovic seem like the best player traded as of now.
I fully expect CBJ would have been a better team with PLD and WPG with Laine. Thoughts?

Well, the Jets are in play offs, Columbus is a lottery team. Both were borderline play off teams last year.

More of a loss to Columbus as this drama completely derailed the franchise

Yeah, these young lads definitely play loose. Laine is probably just waiting for Torts to move on, along with the 7.5M QO columbus has to give him or he goes UFA. Dubois don’t have many options. Gotta work harder.

Pulju has more goals this year than Dubois, Tkachuk, and Laine.

Funny how that works eh?

Those 3 are having their worst career nhl season by far, and they still have around the same # of points as Puljujarvi who is having a career year and is stapled to Mcdavid.

If anything its pretty dissapointing for Puljujarvi to only have 12 goals and 23 points when his center is already at 91 pts...

You should probably watch him play.

If you want to get technical about it he only got moved up to the McDavid line where he's been on and off since about game 12 I think?

So that's 13 goals in 38 games, which prorates to about a 28 goal pace.

I'll take that, heavy player on the forecheck.
