Brooks Orpik Lovejoy, a second alternate, is the conscience.
Kunitz, also a second alternate, is the blood and the guts.
Dupuis – and this, as much as his performance last season, was why removing him from the top line was never an option – had become the cartilage.

The Pens now have no cartilage, no blood, no guts, no conscience and only sometimes a heart... or a lot of heart transplants. I'm confused about that one. I think they might be a ghost now.

Never forget. This **** is also a massive jinx. Dupuis' knee went up in smoke, Orpik got concussed in an attack and Kunitz has an iron deficiency... and Dupuis' blood clots happened but he wasn't the blood of the team... they've had a lot of blood related problems.

Too early yet. Not sure when practice is today, if there are any updates it'll be about an hour after practice is over. Practices are usually 11ish.

ETA: But yea, they'll probably just swap Bones in for Sunny so he centers Kuhn and Rust and
Cullen centers Wilson and Sheary instead of Porter.
Or they try to get cute with a more defensive 4th line and have Porter-Cullen-Wilson/Sheary.
