While he's doing amazing I don't see many teams spending their first on him so he may still fall some what. IMO his size would still deter teams from picking him up in early rounds.

He's doing well but 15 points in 10 games, in Junior, isn't destroying the league.

Know who is doing even better? The guy he is playing with who is scoring a goal a game and was the guy the Blues chose with our 2nd rounder in the Perron trade.

Exactly. Just look at guys like Lipon (3rd round pick) who aren't that small, and put up similar numbers. If we want Tkachev, we can get him in the 2nd or 3rd round still

Doesn't matter. We never would have taken him. We would have taken some plug instead. And we wouldn't have Perron.

As an overager he probably falls to the 4th round or later. If be fine if we used our second 3rd round pick on him.

No use crying over spilled milk. What is done is done, 30 teams passed him over and it's debatabe if he has the physical presence to last in the NHL anyway.

Of course they could draft him in the second round as they usual screw up past the 1st round.

Poor guy, he should look at the Oilers mess up as a blessing. He got to showcase himself and now hopefully he can get drafted by a real NHL team.

He should shoot higher than this cluster****
