These Are The Days
Oh no! We suck again!!
Does anyone know when Hedman's prognosis will be announced? I'm sure we're all equally in the dark but I am indeed curious if anyone's heard anything
To me it looked like an MCL sprain we could be without him for 1-2 months.Based on the video of the injury and not being able to put any weight on it, suggests its some sort of ligament damage. If its the MCL (a time frame of 3 to 8 weeks is in play) however if its an ACL then he is out till next year. If the injury was minor, we would have heard something by now. Players often come up lame and by morning the next day, after the pain has subsided, they are back to walking normally and its fairly obvious that the injury is only a mild ligament strain. Unfortunately, the longer this goes on with no news, the more serious the nature of the injury is likely to be.
"Day to day".The Tampa Bay Lightning don't take this long to say nothing. They are very, very carefully evaluating this and making a time table
Also known as "could be back next game, maybe next year"."Day to day".
"Day to day".
I really hope that these "Twitter experts" are right. 1 months and a half off is really good...
And if it's true, I'll organize a party and I'll get drunk
"May or may not require amputation. We'll wait and see"
They won't give out details, but the time he's expected to be out should be informative as to the nature of the injury. You all really think they are going to give out details; MCL vs ACL vs sprain vs bruise, etc. etc.???
I'm doubting that, it's gonna be "lower body injury, undisclosed". And "we're still evaluating, we don't want to rush it."
Plus, absolutely no rush from them to put out any info. Why would they? It's not required, plus most of the team is probably already on a sandy beach somewhere by now for a few days of R&R.
"Should be"They won't give out details, but the time he's expected to be out should be informative as to the nature of the injury.
